The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a Burglary reported on January 12, 2010.  Unknown person(s) entered the Copperhead Tavern, located in Rural New Canton IL, during the previous night and took property.  If you know who was involved or have any information on this or any other crime occurring in Pike County IL, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500.  Your call will remain anonymous and if your tip is used in making an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Amber D Yaste.  Yaste is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 123 pounds, has brown hair, and green eyes.  Yaste is wanted on a Pike County Warrant for Failure to Appear at Appearance with bond set at $10,000.00.  Yaste was last known to live in Pittsfield.  If you know the whereabouts of Yaste, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500.  Your call will remain anonymous and if your tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.
