The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is
investigating the theft of a 4-wheeler from rural Nebo on April 9, 2010.
The 4-wheeler was described as an orange Kawasaki KSX 400. If you have any
information on this theft, or any other crimes occurring in Pike County, you
are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500. The call will remain
confidential and if your tip is used in making an arrest, you will be
eligible for a cash reward.

Lock all doors and windows in your house. While making plans to leave for
an extended time, remember to arrange for someone to watch over your house
while you are away. Remember to also remove keys and lock the doors on your
vehicle while unattended, even while parked in your driveway. If you have

Fugitive of the Week
03/01/10
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is
seeking information on the whereabouts of 26 year old Austin W Mooney.
Mooney stands 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has brown hair
and eyes. Mooney’s last known address was Nebo. Mooney is wanted on a
$10,000.00 warrant for Failure to Appear at Pay or Appear on charges
ranging from drugs to traffic. If you know the whereabouts of Mooney you
are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500. Your call will remain
anonymous and if your tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a
cash reward.
